What You Need to Know Now about Your New Home Owners Association
Most people who move into active adult communities or condominiums are surprised to find they have a new force to contend with - their Home Owners Association (HOA).  This new article outlines what you need to know - before you buy into a community.

Click on a state to see 578 towns plus a list of 1,079 active adult communities.  Please welcome 5 new Top Communities to this site, all from Traditions of America in Pennsylvania. To see all 5 communities go to our Pennsylvania Directory of Active Adult Communities.

For people who would like to retire in a place where they can be outside all year long, Oceanside might be an ideal location.  Located south of Camp Pendleton in southern California, Oceanside enjoys an average July high temp of 72 and an average January low of 45. It's got great beaches, plenty of parks for recreation, and a number of wonderful neighborhoods and active adult communities to live in.

The idea for this article was a suggestion from one of our members, who was wondering what arrangements other baby boomers, once they retire, make to stay in contact with their adult children.   Eileen answered her own question by writing this thoughtful article. She is very interested in learning what other members do to keep up with the kids (and grandkids)! Use the comments section to share your experiences.
